 ts the basics of museum work while discovering local history.&nbsp\;</p>\n
 <p>Tweens and teens will visit the Pickerington Historical Society to tour
  the museum and learn about Pickerington history and what museum curators 
 do. They will then learn the basic skills behind curating museum exhibitio
 ns and conducting historical research. With that knowledge\, they will cur
 ate an exhibition of their own using items in the Pickerington Historical 
 Society and Pickerington Public Library Ohio collections. These completed 
 exhibitions will be unveiled at the Historical Society and displayed at th
 e Library for community members to learn about local history and see local
  teens&rsquo\; work.</p>\n<p>During the program\, attendees will:</p>\n<ul
 >\n<li>Gain familiarity with the Pickerington Historical Society\, its mus
 eum\, and its role in the community\;</li>\n<li>Gain familiarity with the 
 Pickerington Public Library&rsquo\;s Ohio collection and the library&rsquo
 \;s role in the community\;</li>\n<li>Understand and be able to replicate 
 basic exhibition curation principles\; and</li>\n<li>Be able to identify a
 nd use historical research sources.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Please note: <
