 e parents\, children\, and friends get to jam together!</p>\n<p>Join accla
 imed musician and music educator\, Monte Skelton\, for an interactive inst
 rumental music program designed to bring families together. Inspired by th
 e playful spirit of <em>Acoustic Rooster and his Barnyard Band</em>\, this
  year&rsquo\;s program is all about <strong>collaboration</strong>&mdash\;
 showing how different sounds\, and different people\, create something ama
 zing when they work together.</p>\n<p><strong>LEARN</strong>: Discover how
  sounds&mdash\;and people&mdash\;connect! We&rsquo\;ll kick things off wit
 h a massive "<strong>Audience Storm</strong>" (get ready to stomp\, snap\,
  and clap together!)\, then meet the different "families" of instruments. 
 Monte will demonstrate how winds\, strings\, and electronics like the EWI 
 work together\, using live-looping technology to layer them into a full "m
 usical family."</p>\n<p><strong>BUILD</strong>: How do we turn individual 
 ideas into a team effort? You won't just watch&mdash\;you'll participate! 
 In our new "<strong>Parent-Child Loop Challenges</strong>\," volunteers wi
 ll hop on stage to record sounds and build a song live with Monte. It&rsqu
 o\;s a firsthand look at how every voice matters in the creative process.<
 /p>\n<p><strong>PLAY</strong>! This is where the real bonding happens! Aft
 er enjoying the performance\, the event concludes with a hands-on instrume
 nt building session. But this year\, we&rsquo\;re making "<strong>Partner 
 Instruments</strong>"&mdash\;creations designed to be played together! Fam
 ilies will leave with handmade instruments and the inspiration to keep the
  band playing at home.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>About Monte Skelton</stron
 g></p>\n<p>Award-winning musician Monte Skelton is a versatile performer\,
  composer\, and educator. He is renowned for his captivating live looping 
 performances on saxophone\, guitar\, bass\, and EWI. Three times named Eva
 nsville's Best Musician (2020\, 2024\, and 2025)\, Monte brings a wealth o
 f experience to every stage.</p>\n<p>He has performed with notable acts su
 ch as The Temptations and the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. With a pa
 ssion for creating dynamic and engaging musical experiences\, Monte's curr
 ent goal is to bring all people together to share joy\, memories\, and cre
 ativity through the power of music.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>EVPL programs are not
