 /strong></p>\n<p>Rebecca is the Housing Manager for Housing Squamish. She 
 has 12 years of leadership experience in the community housing sector with
  roles spanning from front-line care\, operations and housing development.
  Rebecca was a key part of the team that developed Co:Here Housing\, a dee
 ply affordable housing community in East Vancouver that is designed for so
 cial connection\, and was the staff-lead in the start-up of Co:Here Develo
 pment Society\, a not-for-profit real estate development consultancy. She 
 recently completed a Masters in Urban Studies from Simon Fraser University
 \, and holds an MA from Regent College.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Rebecca will be p
 resenting her thesis: <a href="https://summit.sfu.ca/item/40356" target="_
 blank" rel="noopener">A case study examining the barriers to use of public

 sh is a community-based society established by the District of Squamish in
  2021. We are for\, and by community\, led by a volunteer board and passio
 nate Executive Director. Our focus is on building and acquiring affordable
  housing\, building partnerships\, securing funding\, coordinating and lev
 eraging resources\, and supporting existing housing operators so that toge
