 <p>May 18-August 9</p>\n<p>(Ages 0-12) Starting on Monday\, May 18\, come 
 by the Homewood Public Library's Children's Department or visit our websit

 org/sr</a>&nbsp\;to sign up for summer reading. Once signed up\, claim a f
 ree book at the Friend's Bookstore! You'll receive a calendar reading log 
 to track each day you read or listen to an audiobook. Bring your log to ou
 r children's desk\, and ask for every 3 days you mark off\, you will earn 
 an entry for our monthly drawings. Also\, if you check out 5 items from th
 e Children's Department\, you can enter another set of cool prizes just by
  showing us your check out receipt. A handful of winners are going to be p
 icked on Wednesday\, July1 and Monday\, August 10.</p>\n<p>Teen Summer Rea
 ding</p>\n<p>May 18 - August 9</p>\n<p>(Ages 12-18) Sign up online beginni
 ng May 18 at <a href="https://homewoodpubliclibrary.org/sr">homewoodpublic
 library.org/sr</a>. After signing up you will be assigned to one of four h
 ouses. For every three books or audiobooks you check out in-person or onli
 ne\, you earn a chance to enter the weekly drawing for a gift bag. You&rsq
 uo\;ll get a reading list too\, and each book read counts for one entry! E
 ach entry is a point for your house.&nbsp\; The team with the most points 
 wins the year. Entries will be kept throughout the Summer\, so each one wi
 ll have a chance to win the grand prize drawing on August 10.</p>\n<p>Adul
 t Summer Reading: Tales From the Writing Life&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>May 18
 &nbsp\;- August 9</p>\n<p>Adults of all Ages are invited to participate in
  our 2026 Summer Reading program:&nbsp\;Tales from the Writing Life!&nbsp\
 ;All summer long we will offer a variety of programs that are writing and 
 book themed including author talks\, crafts\, memoir writing\, activities 
 and more. In addition to our amazing programs\, adults can also read books
  for a chance to win prizes! There are lots of ways to be entered into our
  weekly and grand prize drawings. For every book read or listened to\, par
 ticipants will get an entry into the prize drawing. Also\, for every 3 ite
 ms checked out\, participants will get another entry. We will have a few n
 ew surprises this year\, too\, like genre teams and bonus ways to earn pri
