 ptian style dance\, a beautiful and expressive form rooted in rich cultura
 l tradition. Dancers will explore hip work\, expressive arms and musical i
 nterpretation. Class will include technique drills\, posture and movement 
 fundamentals\, with combinations inspired by classic and modern Egyptian d
 ance.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>This class welcomes dancers of all levels and focuses
  on building strength\, confidence and artistry\, in a supportive and enco
 uraging environment.</p>\n<p><strong>About the Artist</strong></p>\n<p>Tal
 ia is a second-generation dancer from the Pacific Northwest. She began lea
 rning Middle Eastern dance at the age of eight performing in local events 
 and festivals. After deciding she wanted to become a professional dancer\,
  Talia moved to Minneapolis\, MN and began studies as The Cassandra School
  of Belly Dance. Currently\, Talia is the Director of Shula Azhar and Raks
  Halifa dance companies in the Sequim/Port Angeles area of Washington stat
 e. She continues to teach and perform throughout the United States.</p>\n<
 p>This program is in partnership with <a href="https://fieldhallevents.org
 /peninsula-performs/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="Peninsula Perf
 orms!">Peninsula Performs!</a> which brings professional artists into K-12
  classrooms in Port Angeles and Sequim during the school year.</p>\n<p><a
