 a></strong> as we learn about the basic needs of plants (sun\, water\, soi
 l)\, parts of a plant (stem\, leaves\, flower petals)\, and why plants are
  so important to pollinators\, such as bees\, butterflies and hummingbirds
  and why pollinators are so important to plants!</p>\n<p>After the short t
 alk we will go outside and get our hands dirty as we plant pollinator frie
 ndly flowers in the garden bed in the front of the library! Throughout the
  summer stop by to see how the flowers in our garden are growing and which
  pollinators have come to visit.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>For ages 4 to 12
 .&nbsp\;</strong>Parents/caregivers MUST accompany children under the age 
 of 8 during the program. Please dress your child in an outfit they are com
