 g people face and provide tools for bridging communication and creating a 
 bi-cultural family system. She will provide strategies for raising our nex
 t generation to become confident\, thriving adults\, who are healthy and s
 uccessful. Dr. Wadhwani will address topics of mental health stigma\, mana
 ging the intergenerational cultural norms\, and shifting to a strength-bas
 ed approach to parenting. She will provide strategies for opening communic
 ation to meet your teen and young adult children where they are and creati
 ng a healthy relationship in which your teens and young adult children wil
 l feel more able to come to you when needed.</p>\n<p>This workshop is pres
 ented by the South Asian Mental Health Initiative and Network. SAMHIN was 
 formed in 2014 to address a broad range of mental health needs of the grow
 ing South Asian community in the United States\, beginning with New Jersey
 . SAMHIN is a team of dedicated\, multifaceted\, determined\, and passiona
 te individuals from all walks of life with a strong desire to help uncover
