 e of textiles naturally evolved into silk painting\, motivated by her frus
 tration with limited fabric choices in costuming. Silk painting quickly be
 came her primary artistic outlet. Her work has earned international acclai
 m\, winning First Prize in the 2021 Silk Painter&rsquo\;s International co
 mpetition for <em>Solace</em> and a People&rsquo\;s Choice Honorable Menti
