Do you want to make crafts to support hosp itals and senior homes? The Wishing Crane Project and Carmel Love For Our Elders are collaborating to present "Crafts for Kindness." Participants wi ll be able to create origami cranes\, glow-in-the-dark stars\, and handwri tten letters to share encouragement and kindness. All materials will be pr ovided.

No registration required\, and all ages are welcome to par ticipate at this drop-in program.

Teens going into grades 6 &ndash\;12 will earn 1 service hour for this event. Note that the library can only track service hours for \;Teen Volunteer Corps \;members. If you h aven't joined the TVC yet\, \;applications are available online \;and are a ccepted year-round from students going into grades 6&ndash\;12. You can ev en fill out an application at this event.
Children in grade 5 an d below must have a supervising caregiver (parent\, guardian\, or other ca regiver aged 16 or older) on library premises when using the library or at tending library events.
