 r kindergarten</strong> by building essential skills across five early lea
 rning domains. Kindergarten readiness is about what kids should know and b
 e able to do when they start&nbsp\;kindergarten. It refers to a child&rsqu
 o\;s readiness to make a smooth and successful transition and&nbsp\;integr
 ation into the kindergarten environment. This includes skills like letter 
 recognition\, identifying colors\, counting\, and even gross motor skills.
 </p>\n<p>Through a short circle time and self-led\, play-based activity st
 ations\, children will work together with their caregivers to improve thes
 e skills. Caregivers will have the opportunity to learn more about the ski
 lls their child is building.</p>\n<p>This program is intended for <strong>
 children aged 3 to 5.&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p>Library Program Attendance (
 both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the sugg
 ested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under t
 he age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program in
 tended for children must have an accompanying child.</p>\n<p>If you plan t
