Artist's Statement
\n< p>The Flowerhood Chapter of Life Photomontage Series was created when I was a first-time mom\, transitioning into my new role. \; Each page in the chapter contains at least one blooming flower\, ready to shed its beautiful petals and give of herself to produce and nourish of fspring\; an image captured during nocturnal newborn nurturing\; and an im age of a personally meaningful spot of ground\, which represents groundedn ess\, Mother Nature's support\, and the well-trodden path walked by countl ess mothers before me.\nArtist's Bio
With a background rooted in the performing arts\, Lisa Zamora\, MFA\, is an emerging visual artist who is taking her interpretation of the world fr om the fleeting movements to enduring forms. Focusing her work on botanica l imagery supported by a meaningful and over-processed background\, Lisa c reates visual metaphors that feel both familiar and a little unexpected.&n bsp\;
