The library is proud to partner with Bridg eway for a new Mental Health Awareness Series designed to connect communit y members with trusted information\, compassionate support\, and local res ources.
\nThis first session will introduce general behavioral healt h services and explore topics including depression awareness and suicide p revention. Participants will learn about available supports\, how to recog nize when someone may benefit from additional help\, and ways to access ca re for themselves or loved ones.
\nThis program is intended to creat e a respectful\, non-judgmental space where mental health can be discussed openly. Mental health experiences exist on a wide spectrum\, and seeking support is a sign of strength. The session will focus on education\, aware ness\, and practical resources while encouraging empathy\, understanding\, and community connection.
\nPlease note that sensitive topics relat ed to mental health will be discussed. Attendees are encouraged to partici pate at their own comfort level\, and sharing personal experiences is alwa ys optional.
