 s a beautiful singer\, prolific songwriter\, violinist\, pianist\, and gui
 tarist. She is an exceptionally talented artist with a wide range whose so
 ngs embrace audiences with powerful melodies and expressive lyrics. Influe
 ntial styling ranges from folk to rock in her catalogue of over 250 origin
 al songs.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Born into a musically gifted family\, E'lissa began
  singing and playing piano around the age of five. Jones wrote her first s
 ong at the age of seven and began studying violin at the age of ten. By el
 even\, she was writing love songs and short classical works for violin and
  piano. While classically trained as a violinist\, E'lissa is largely self
 -taught as a vocalist\, pianist\, guitarist\, and the many other instrumen

 /p>\n<p><strong>Skylands Songwriters Guild</strong> is an educational 501(
 c)3 dedicated to nurturing the community of Singer/Songwriters of Northwes
 t New Jersey and the surrounding region. We seek to provide enlightenment 
 for the public\, revealing the talents of songwriters\, and to offer educa
 tional and performance resources for artists to advance their craft.&nbsp\
 ; SSG seeks to provide an open and supportive atmosphere for aspiring amat
 eurs through accomplished professionals.
The Guild will host learnin
 g and sharing events such as Open Mics\, coffeehouses\, song-craft worksho
 ps and seminars\, as well as showcases and festivals for performances. The
  Principals of the SSG are well established in the local independent artis
 t community\, hosting many of the events mentioned above. They seek to mak
 e the SSG a non-profit entity unto itself for the sole purpose of building
  community among those who create and those who appreciate!</p>\n<p><em>Fu
