This lecture will explore well-k nown paintings such as Emanuel Leutze&rsquo\;s Washington Crossing the Del aware\, John Trumbull&rsquo\;s Declaration of Independence\, and \;Ash er Durand&rsquo\;s The Capture of Major André\;.

Abo ut the Presenter: Mallory Mortillaro is an art historian and educ ator. As a researcher\, she consults for private \;collectors\, museum s\, and organizations in the New York metropolitan area\, with a primary f ocus \;on provenance research. Her discoveries in the art world have g arnered her international attention. \; A popular lecturer\, she has p resented more than 400 art history lectures to audiences around the countr y. She studied at Drew University. Mallory resides in New Jersey with her husband and daughter. \;
