 ><strong>About the Artist:</strong>&nbsp\;<br />Shiemara Hogarth is a Jama
 ica-born\, Brampton-based textile and craft artist whose practice explores
  themes of belonging\, memory\, and storytelling across weaving\, embroide
 ry\, digital printing\, and sculptural forms.&nbsp\;<br />&nbsp\;<br />Her
  MFA thesis&nbsp\;<em>Personal Geographies</em>\, supported by the Alberta
  Graduate Excellence Scholarship\, has been&nbsp\;exhibited&nbsp\;national
 ly\, her curated exhibition&nbsp\;<em>Threading Black</em>&nbsp\;has been 
 shown in Edmonton and Calgary\, and her writing has been featured in&nbsp\
 ;<em>Studio&nbsp\;Magazine</em>.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;<br />&nbsp\;<br />Trained i
 n history\, material art and design\, and craft media\, Hogarth&rsquo\;s w
 ork has been included in Volume 2 of the&nbsp\;Jarislowsky&nbsp\;Institute
  for Studies in Canadian Art&rsquo\;s<em> Craft &amp\; Craftivism: A Biogr
