Celebrate Disa bility Pride Month with an art program inspired by creativity\, resilience \, and self‑expression. We&rsquo\;ll begin by reading Unbound: The Life and Art of Judith Scott\, then learn about Judith Scott&rsqu o\;s remarkable story and her unique textile sculptures.
\nJudith Sc ott\, a Deaf artist with Down syndrome\, created powerful and widely celeb rated works using yarn\, fabric\, and found materials. Her art reminds us that creativity has no limits.
\nAfter the story\, participants will create their own yarn‑wrapped sculptures using a variety of materi als. This program is open to people of all ages and abilities\, and everyo ne is encouraged to explore their own style and ideas in a supportive\, we lcoming space.
\nWe will do our best to accommodate accessibility ne eds so all participants can fully enjoy and take part.
