 Carr</strong> is an award-winning\, Atlanta-based investigative journalist
  and journalism professor at Morehouse College. The majority of her most r
 ecent work for ProPublica has explored the intersection of race\, politics
 \, parental rights organizations\, and democracy in public education. Carr
  has developed courses in History of the Black Press\, social justice\, an
 d investigative journalism for students and faculty at Morehouse and Spelm
 an Colleges\, as well as Clark Atlanta and Howard Universities.</p>\n<p><i

 rom hurricanes to elections. Prior to that\, Pamela worked for The PBS New
 sHour\, reporting on stories about the opioid crisis\, immigration\, educa
 tion\, and more. She has also worked for <em>The Washington Post</em>\, C-
 SPAN\, and Sirius XM Satellite Radio. She has traveled the country coverin
 g five presidential campaigns\, Congress\, and the White House. She gradua
 ted with a degree in Political Science and Communication from the Universi
