X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>Celebrate creative music at the&nbsp\;<a h
 ref="https://somethingelsefestival.com/">Something Else! Festival&nbsp\;</
 a>at HPL with world-renowned musicians&nbsp\;<a href="https://elisathorn.c
 om/">Elisa Thorn</a>&nbsp\;(Vancouver-based harpist) and Two Pianos\, No R
 odeo (<a href="https://www.bobwiseman.ca/">Bob Wiseman</a> and <a href="ht
tps://michaelboguski.com/">Mike Boguski</a>\, past and present pianists fr
om Blue Rodeo). Presented in partnership with&nbsp\;<a href="https://somet
 hingelsefestival.com/about">Zula Presents</a>.</p>\n<p>Bob Wiseman and Mik
e Boguski are two of Canada&rsquo\;s most unpredictable keyboard minds. Th
ey take turns dismantling and reimagining a solo piano set. One piano. Two
artists. Zero cowboy hats.</p>\n<p>Bob Wiseman is a founding member of Bl
ue Rodeo. He is a punk pianist and lo-fi provocateur. Think Monk meets Bur
roughs at a Toronto dive bar. Expect sound collage\, biting satire and son
ic left turns. Nothing&rsquo\;s off limits.</p>\n<p>Mike Boguski is the cu
rrent Blue Rodeo pianist. He is an ambient soul explorer\, master of restr
aint and reverie. He uses a piano as a landscape and melody as a memory\,
creating quiet storms and cinematic swells. It's like musical cliff jumpin
g.</p>\n<p>Elisa Thorn is a versatile harpist\, vocalist and composer who
has emerged as a sought-after figure in the Canadian creative music landsc
ape. She is renowned for her distinctive and contemporary approach to the
harp. Thorn&rsquo\;s original compositions weave together elements of folk
\, post-rock\, jazz\, classical and indie music. They are driven by two pr
imary artistic goals: to create music that balances abstraction with acces
 sibility and sensitivity with boldness.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p></p>\nhttp
