 gether as a community in a fun and interactive way. Drum circles facilitat
 e a state of deep relaxation\, joy and a sense of well-being.</p>\n<p>In a
 ddition to learning rhythms\, participants will develop tools to encourage
  social interaction.</p>\n<p>No prior experience is needed to attend.&nbsp
 \; This program gets you started with all the basics necessary to play and
  participate in community drum circles and will strengthen the skill level
  for those familiar with drumming.</p>\n<p>We will give members an overvie
 w of the core concepts including:</p>\n<p>&bull\; How to position and hold
  the drum&bull\; Notes\, practice rhythms and traditional African rhythms<
 /p>\n<p>&bull\; Call and response\, developing listening skills&bull\; Rhy
 thmic games&bull\; Much more!</p>\n<p>Space is limited\, and only those re
 gistered are guaranteed a spot in the circle.&nbsp\; If a family\, please 
 register everyone participating. This program is open to adults\, teens\, 
 and anyone age 6 and up.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;If you have your own drum\, please b
 ring it!&nbsp\; If not\, a drum will be provided.</p>\n<p>Made possible by
