Welcoming experienced and new players alik e\, we will play Dungeons &\; Dragons 5e at our Cold Spring Branch! If you do not know how to make a character\, never fear\, we will have pre-ge nerated characters for you to use. If you would like to make your own char acter\, we will be making characters and leveling up from 6 pm to around 7 pm. According to Wizards o f the Coast\, the first Dungeons &\; Dragons game was played back when Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson chose to personalize the massive battles of th eir fantasy wargames with the exploits of individual heroes. This inspirat ion became the first fantasy roleplaying game\, in which players are chara cters in an ongoing fantasy story. This new kind of game has become immens ely popular over the years\, and D&\;D has grown to include many new wa ys to vividly experience worlds of heroic fantasy.
\nThe core of D&a mp\;D is storytelling. You and your friends tell a story together\, guidin g your heroes through quests for treasure\, battles with deadly foes\, dar ing rescues\, courtly intrigue and much more. You can also explore the wor ld of Dungeons &\; Dragons through any of the novels written by its fan tasy authors\, as well as engaging board games and immersive video games. All of these stories are a part of D&\;D.
