 s been the LSU Agricultural Center&rsquo\;s sugarcane specialist since 201
 1. He is also the American Sugar Cane League Chair in Sugarcane Production
 . Dr. Gravois grew up on his family&rsquo\;s sugarcane farm in Vacherie\, 
 which was first started by his grandfather. The farm has grown to encompas
 s acreage in three south Louisiana parishes.</p>\n<p>This workshop is orga
 nized by the Ascension Parish Library and the LSU AgCenter to educate adul
 ts interested in gardening\, landscaping\, and modern agriculture.</p>\nht
