\nThe&nb sp\;Jeekl \;String Quartet\, formed by Evyn Joseph\, Leanna Oliver (vi olins)\, Jason Guzman (viola)\, and Joshua Goldstone (cello)\, aims to cre ate a personal connection with audiences through their performances that h ighlight chamber works for strings. Founded in 2024 at the University of N evada\, Las Vegas\, the quartet has developed a warm\, engaging sound and has performed at many local venues\, including the Dr. Arturo Rando-Grillo t Hall\, Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall\, and the Winchester Dondero Cultural Center.
\nWhat started as a friendship has evolved into a cohesive ensemble over two years\, marked by vibrant performances of the quartets o f Mendelssohn\, Debussy\, and Haydn. They also perform works by underrepre sented composers like Jessie Montgomery and Florence Price\, demonstrating their dedication to engaging the community with diverse chamber music exp eriences throughout Las Vegas. \;
