  camera</li>\n<li>the basics of composition</li>\n<li>the mechanics of cap
 turing a good image</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>LEVEL</strong>: Beginner to In

 trong>REQUIREMENTS</strong>: Bring a digital camera of your choice&nbsp\;(
 smartphone\, digital point-and-shoot\, digital SLR or mirrorless). Must ha
 ve basic familiarity with your equipment.</p>\n<p><strong>WORKSHOP FORMAT<
 /strong>: a combination of classroom lecture\, Q&amp\;A and hands-on pract
 ice at several workstations</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Presenter Bio&nbsp\;<
 /strong><br />Ed Aghajanian is a self-taught photographer who has taken fo
 rmal classes at the Cleveland Photographic Society\, as well as attended&n
 bsp\;a number of seminars and workshops over the years. When he was 19\, E
 d's&nbsp\;mother handed him a Kodak Instamatic camera as he was going out 
 the door to a college field geology class in Northwestern Wyoming. When Ed
  told her "I don't know anything about taking pictures\," she reminded him
  that he did know how to read and that there were instructions inside the 
 box. Ed read the manual and he's been taking pictures ever since.</p>\n<p>
 Ed's primary focus is landscape and nature photography. He dabbles in macr
 o photography and architectural photography\, as well. He has also shot sp
 orting events\, primarily NCAA Division I Lacrosse.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong

 tended a high-interest/low-capacity program in the past&nbsp\;30 days. If
