To commemorate our nation's 250th\, the La rgely Literary Theater Company offers a tribute to the writing and the wri ters who inspired the cause of American independence\, who took 13 very di fferent colonies and made them united states\, and who then convinced thos e states to adopt a constitutional republic in order to form a more perfec t union -- from Thomas Paine's "Common Sense" and Patrick Henry's speeches to Thomas Jefferson's "Declaration of Independence" and the Federalist Pa pers of Alexander Hamilton and James Madison. It took the blood\, sweat an d tears of a wide variety of people\, of many backgrounds\, \;temperam ents \;and beliefs\, all fighting for a common cause to make the dream of America come true.
