 m>The Serviceberry</em>\, author Robin Wall Kimmerer invites us to think a
 bout how to orient our lives around gratitude\, reciprocity\, and communit
 y\, based on the lessons of the natural world. As Indigenous scientist and
  author of Braiding Sweetgrass\, Robin harvests serviceberries alongside t
 he birds\, and she considers the ethic of reciprocity that lies at the hea
 rt of the gift economy. How\, she asks\, can we learn from Indigenous wisd
 om and the plant world to reimagine what we value most?</p>\n<p>For our fi
 rst Learning For Liberation session\, we&rsquo\;re inviting folks to join 
 us for an evening of discussion surrounding abundance\, reciprocity\, gift
 -economies and other themes of the book\, whilst creating cyanotype prints
 !</p>\n<p>This program exists to create a welcoming space for collective l
 earning and art-making\, critical conversation\, and community connection 
 through books that explore liberation\, history\, justice\, creativity\, a
 nd social change. Together\, participants will engage with diverse voices 
 and ideas\, reflect on lived experiences\, and imagine more caring\, equit
 able futures.</p>\n<p>On the first Tuesday of each month\, folks will come
  together to discuss the book at hand\, whilst participating in a hands-on
  art activity.</p>\n<p>10 copies of each book will be available. All art a
 ctivity materials are provided.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Sessions are led in partner
 ship with&nbsp\;Cultivate Art Commons\, a non-profit organization in Katar
 okwi/Kingston dedicated to supporting contemporary artists through equity-
 rooted\,&nbsp\;community-engaged artistic practice.</p>\n<p>This program i
