These 20-30 minute story times are special ly designed for infants from birth until they begin walking\, along with t heir grown-ups! Participants are introduced to developmentally appropriate books\, songs\, rhymes\, tickles\, and bounces in a positive and fun atmo sphere. Because Baby Lap Time emphasizes lots of interaction between the c aregiver and the child on their lap\, we recommend that each baby have the ir own grown-up with them. There will be an optional and informal play tim e following the story time until 3pm.

We will meet in the lower le vel meeting room in the Georgetown Neighborhood Library. There is no sign- up or pre-registration. However\, space is limited\, and we ask that older siblings stay at home for this program. Join us every Thursday! \;
