 oin artist John Watkins-Chow for this workshop about what goes into sketch
 ing figures for use in comics and manga. Sketch alongside John while he ta
 lks about his process and answers your questions. All skill levels are wel
 come\, no prior drawing experience necessary\, willingness to explore and 
 discover is a must!</p>\n<p>John Watkins-Chow was born in New Jersey and e
 nded up with three degrees from MIT. He has been doodling his whole life a
 nd has been fortunate to work in animation\, comics\, and sketch card art 
 on properties such as Lord of the Rings\, Star Wars\, Indiana Jones\, and 
 a host of Marvel Comics characters including Spider-Man\, the Avengers\, &
 amp\; X-Men. Recently\, his marker art has appeared on sketch cards for Up
 per Deck's Avengers Vs X-Men\, Marvel Beginnings\, Secret Wars\, Avengers 
 Skybox Metal\, &amp\; DC Annual sets. Very\, very occasionally\, he works 
 on his own comic\, Talismen&mdash\;which increasingly looks like it will b
 e his project in retirement. During the day\, John teaches high school mat
 h &amp\; physics in a private school in Rockville.</p>\n<p><strong>For Age
