 libraryfriends.org/west-end">The West End Library Friends</a>.</p>\n<p>The
  afternoon will bring string quartet musicians from the Washington Conserv
 atory of Music inspired by historic American letters and writings preserve
 d through libraries. This unique program weaves together music and storyte
 lling to explore the voices\, ideas\, and spirit that shaped the nation. P
 erformed by WCM faculty musicians\, the concert journeys through early Ame
 rican fiddle tunes\, bluegrass\, spirituals\, hymns\, jazz\, Broadway favo
 rites\, and works by iconic American composers including Aaron Copland.</p
