Leslie Ava Shaw has been an art educator f or thirty years and counting. She conducted tours for the Whitney Museum o f American Art as a docent and lecturer for 22 years. She also created pri vate tours of New York City's Chelsea galleries\, where contemporary art a bounds. Ms. Shaw curated an exhibition for New City Arts in Charlottesvill e\, VA and a one-woman show at Loving Cup Vineyards in North Garden\, VA. As a member of the faculty and the Arts Council for St. Joseph's College\, Brooklyn\, NY\, she co-juried and co-curated numerous exhibitions and wro te critical essays. More recently\, Ms. Shaw juried the exhibition\, "Make Me Happy" for Falls Church Arts\, which was exhibited in 2021-22. She has been a gallery guide for the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden since 2018.
