Will Hillenbrand is a ce lebrated author and illustrator whose works include 80 picture books for y oung readers\, and his notable achievements and collaborations with renown ed writers like Verna Aardema and Jane Yolen showcase his influence in chi ldren&rsquo\;s literature and inspire educators and parents alike. As a ch ild\, Hillenbrand explored the streets of College Hill/Cincinnati in searc h of adventure and stories. He has spent most of his life in Cincinnati\, Ohio\, where he grew up as the youngest of four boys\, with childhood rout ines revolving around the neighborhood\, his parents&rsquo\; barbershop\, the Northern Hills Library\, playing baseball\, and drawing. \;

He now works in a small Terrace Park studio in the upst airs of his Cape Cod home\, which he shares with his wife\, Jane\, a kinde rgarten teacher\, and their son\, Ian\, a geologist\, who is an avid reade r and writer with many published scientific papers\, currently doing postd octoral work at the United States Geological Survey in Denver\, Colorado.< /div>\n

Columbus Audubon \;will be on site with informationa l displays and interactive elements to learn more about our feathered frie nds. The Audubon will bring a sel ection of bird biofacts (nests\, eggs\, skulls\, beaks\, taxidermized bird s\, etc.) and a specimen matching game for the audience to explore.
