Join Sheila Nemcsok for an informative wor kshop on safely and ethically collecting wild food from urban nature. This workshop includes a classroom session and an outdoor lesson that gives ha nds-on exposure to forageable plants in their natural setting.

She ila is a Kingston-based urban forager whose pandemic passion project was t o bring foraging education to her community. She grew up in Northern Ontar io\, where her family regularly foraged for blueberries\, hazelnuts\, wint ergreen and other wild foods. She has a certificate in Plant-Based Medicin e from Cornell University and a Master Naturalist certificate from Lakehea d University.
