The Regional Behavioral Health Interagency Collaboration is a unified partnership that brings stakeholders together to address opportunities for improvement within Florida&rsquo\;s behaviora l health system. Established to strengthen local efforts\, this initiative works to enhance the accessibility\, availability\, and quality of behavi oral health services by fostering community partnerships\, promoting cross -agency collaboration\, improving the crisis care continuum\, and advancin g data collection and management processes.
\nOn behalf of the South east Region\, we would like to invite you to join us for the upcoming Sout heast Quarterly Regional Behavioral Health Interagency Collaboration Meeti ng on July 13\, 2026\, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The meeting will be h eld at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center which is located at 2650 Sistrunk Blvd. Fort Lauderdale\, Florida 33311.
\nTh is quarter&rsquo\;s meeting will feature a panel discussion focused on the successes\, impact\, and lessons learned from the Southeast Region CORE N etwork. The discussion will also provide regional partners with a deeper u nderstanding of how their organizations&mdash\;including schools\, law enf orcement\, Emergency Medical Services\, Agency for Persons with Disabiliti es\, Agency for Health Care Administration\, Department of Juvenile Justic e\, Department of Health\, Department of Education\, Florida Department of Corrections\, and other state agencies&mdash\;can support\, benefit from\ , and collaborate more effectively with CORE services.
\nThe Coordin ated Opioid Recovery (CORE) Network is a statewide initiative designed to create a comprehensive\, integrated system of care for individuals experie ncing substance use disorders\, particularly opioid addiction. CORE connec ts emergency stabilization\, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)\, behavio ral health care\, peer support\, and long-term recovery services into a se amless continuum of care. Through its innovative approach to addressing th e opioid crisis\, CORE has expanded access to life-saving services and str engthened pathways to sustainable long-term treatment and recovery for Flo ridians and their families. By Fiscal Year 2025&ndash\;2026\, all 67 Flori da counties will have launched or be onboarding a CORE Network\, marking f ull statewide implementation.
