Jami Lockhart was an archeologist at the A rkansas Archeological Survey for 39 years\, during which he researched geo physical remote sensing and geographic information systems (GIS). He \ ;conducted research at major archeological sites in Arkansas\, including P arkin\, Plum Bayou Mounds\, Carden Bottoms\, and Menard-Hodges as well as in surrounding states\, such as the Spiro Mounds in eastern Oklahoma. At t he University of Arkansas\, he \;served as research faculty in the ant hropology department and as cooperating faculty for the Environmental Dyna mics PhD program.
