 cher&nbsp\;Guy&nbsp\;is a Toronto writer and journalist. She&rsquo\;s a 20
 24 VCCA (Virginia Center for the Creative Arts) fellow and is the author o
 f&nbsp\;<em>The Umbrella Mender</em>. Her short fiction has appeared in Ca
 nadian\, American and British journals. She was awarded a National Magazin
 e Award and contributes criticism and interviews to literary journals.</p>
