BILL KEMP\, a lettering artist who has bee n practicing his craft for over 40 years\, will Zoom from his home in Albu querque\, NM. The pointed pen is his true love\, but he also does board ed ge lettering\, too. Pointed pen uncial is a modern adaptation of tradition al Uncial script. While Uncial was historically written with a broad-edge pen\, using a pointed nib allows for elegant\, rounded letterforms paired with delicate\, dynamic line variations. \; \;
This class is presented by the Birmingham Calligraphy Guild (BCG) and sponsored by the H oover Public Library. Registration and supplies for your first class are f ree. \;
