 the&nbsp\;Spokane Calligraphy Guild&nbsp\;to put on the exhibit\, &ldquo\;
 Calligraphy: The Art of Beautiful&nbsp\;Lettering".&nbsp\;Most of the disp
 layed materials are from guild members\, with supplemental items from the 
 library&rsquo\;s Inland Northwest Special Collection (beautiful lettering 
 has long been in practice in the art of books!).&nbsp\;<br />&nbsp\;<br />
 During the reception\, you can talk with members&nbsp\;about calligraphy\,
 &nbsp\;learn&nbsp\;about&nbsp\;tools&nbsp\;of the&nbsp\;trade\,&nbsp\;and 
 find out about the Guild.&nbsp\;Guild members will be on hand to&nbsp\;cal
 ligraph&nbsp\;your name&nbsp\;for free&nbsp\;and talk about their practice
 .&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule of events:</strong><br />1:00pm - Openin
 g remarks<br />1:30 - 3pm - Browse exhibit and get your name calligraphed 
 by guild members.<br />&nbsp\;<br />Whether&nbsp\;your&nbsp\;writing is ch
 icken-scratch\, curlicues\, or&nbsp\;typewritten\,&nbsp\;you&rsquo\;ll&nbs
 p\;want to check out this gorgeous exhibit celebrating the art of letterin

 al is currently unavailable. Enter at the north or south entrance at stree
