 nt and past issues of &Eacute\;lan to inspire poetic writing. An Ekphrasti
 c poem is often a vivid description of a work of visual art that moves bey
 ond the boundaries of the inspiration into exploring the poet&rsquo\;s emo
 tional reactions and narrating and reflecting on the &ldquo\;action&rdquo\
 ; of a painting or sculpture to amplify and expand on its potential meanin
