Get a taste of 3D printing by making your own mini Jack-O'-Lantern! Come to the Studio at Pontiac to learn about des igning 3D Models on TinkerCAD Software\, using 3D Slicer Software\, and pr inting on a 3D printer. Participants will create a custom Jack-O'-Lantern online in TinkerCAD\, and the be able to print it out on the Studio's 3D p rinter. Each Jack-O'-Lantern will also have a battery-operated tea light t hat will be inserted into the project after printing. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended. Limited to 9 participants. \;\n

This program was designed for 2nd \;grade and up\, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist th em throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible care giver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests\, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervi sing caregivers. \; \;
