 ook at George Morrison. George Morrison was<br />an Ojibwe abstract painte
 r and sculptor from Minnesota. His Ojibwe name was Wah Wah Teh<br />Go Nay
  Ga Bo (Standing In the Northern Lights). Morrison's work is associated wi
 th<br />the Abstract Expressionist movement in the United States. Between 
 the 1940s through the<br />1960s\, he worked and exhibited alongside Wille
 m de Kooning\, Franz Kline\, and Jackson<br />Pollock\, among other contem
 porary American artists in New York City. Students will create<br />their 
 own abstractions in celebration of Morrison&rsquo\;s great unsung and unde
 r recognized works.</p>\n<p>All are welcome!</p>\n<p>This program will be 
 held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube.</p>\n<p>Registration is 
 required whether you are attending in person or online.</p>\n<p>Registrati
 on closes 15 minutes before each class. You will receive the Zoom link and
