Learn where to start with your own sewing projects by preparing materials and patterns for quilted leaf coasters. Pa trons will learn how to read patterns\, select fabric and thread\, and hav e everything ready to sit down at a machine and sew. There is no sewin g done within this \;program\, only the steps leading up to sewing (ma chine or hand). Patrons will receive the supplies and knowledge to fi nish their project during Studio open hours. Limited to 10 participants.\n

This program was designed for 7th grade and up\, but younger childr en may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them thr oughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the pr ogram must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests\, however the Studi o programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising c aregivers. \; \;
