El Club Españ\;ol de conversaci&oacu te\;n regresa en persona los jueves de 5:30pm a 7:00pm a la Biblioteca Bri gadier General Charles E. McGee. El nuevo formato dará\; la bienveni da a hablantes nativos de inglé\;s y españ\;ol. Las sesiones s emanales se estructurará\;n como encuentros \;espontá\;neo s\, donde habrá\; un intercambio entre los dos idiomas. Los particip antes aprenderá\;n uno del otro\, dividié\;ndose en parejas o pequeñ\;os grupos con un mí\;nimo de un hablante nativo de ing lé\;s y españ\;ol por grupo. Los hablantes nativos ayudar&aacu te\;n a los estudiantes del segundo idioma con gramá\;tica \;y v ocabulario basá\;ndose en la \;discusió\;n del tema elegid o ese dí\;a. \;

\nThe \;Spani sh/English Conversation Club meets every Thursday from 5:30pm &ndash\; 7:0 0\, in Room 2\, at the Brigadier General Charles E. McGee Library\, 900 Wa yne Avenue in downtown Silver Spring\, welcoming \;both English and na tive \;Spanish \;speakers. The weekly sessions will run like spont aneous meet ups\, where participants learn from one another. Those gathere d divide into mixed pairs or trios\, with English and \;Spanish \; speakers in each conversation group. Students native in \;Spanish \;can get Student Service Learning hours required for high school \;gr aduation for participation. Volunteers will work with small groups with&nb sp\;Spanish \;language learners and directed by the leader of the Conv ersation Club. This is an on-going\, year-round opportunity.

\nLibrary Program Atte ndance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a pr ogram intended for children must have an accompanying child.
