Get a taste of 3D printing by making your own mini Jack-O'-Lantern! Come to the Studio at Georgetown to learn about designing 3D Models on TinkerCAD Software\, using 3D Slicer Software\, and printing on a 3D printer. Participants will create a custom JAck-O'Lanter ns online in TinkerCAD\, and the be able to print it out on the Studio's 3 D printer. Jack-O'-Lanterns that will be translucent orange\; each one wil l also have a battery-operated tea light that will be inserted into the pr oject after printing. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended . Limited to 10 participants. \;
\nThis program was designe d for 2nd \;grade and up\, but younger children may attend if an adult /guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly su pervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests\, however the Studio programs can only accom modate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers. \; \;< /p>\n
