Visit the Studio at Main \;to create y our very own glow-in-the-dark earrings using a Glowforge Laser Printer! Pa trons are invited to this introductory program to learn what laser printin g is\, how to safely use it\, and what kinds of tasks it can accomplish. A fter learning the basics\, patrons will be free to design their earrings u sing the Glowforge design app. Then\, their designs will be engraved and/o r cut out of glow-in-the-dark acrylic. Finally\, assemble the earrings usi ng the provided jewelry! \;Familiarity with computers is highly re commended prior to attending this program. \;Limited to 10 \;participants.
\nThi s program was designed for 7th grade and up\, but younger children may att end if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout th e program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in t he Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests\, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers. \; \;
