 try I principally recommended is not the industry of the hands\, but of th
 e mind.&rdquo\; How to cultivate the mind? By making reading a &ldquo\;fav
 orite recreation of leisure hours\,&rdquo\; AND with &ldquo\;conversation 
 of learned and ingenious men\, which is the best of all substitutes for th
 ose who have not the means or opportunities of deep study.&rdquo\;</p>\nht
