Get a taste of 3D printing by making your own mini Jack-O'-Lantern! Come to the Studio at Main to learn about design ing 3D Models on TinkerCAD Software\, using 3D Slicer Software\, and print ing on a 3D printer. Participants will create a custom Jack-O'Lanterns onl ine in TinkerCAD\, and the be able to print it out on the Studio's 3D prin ter. Jack-O'-Lanterns that will be translucent orange\; each one will also have a battery-operated tea light that will be inserted into the project after printing. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended. Limited to 10 participants. \;
\nThis program was designed for 2nd \;grade and up\, but younger children may attend if an adult/guard ian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervis ed and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests\, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers. \; \;
