Learn the proper practic es for caring for these fascinating insects through every stage of their l ife cycle&mdash\;from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis or cocoon\, and fina lly to adult butterfly or moth.
\nThe Lep Club brings examples of li ve moths and butterflies at various life stages\, along with host plants a nd mounted native species for display. This program offers a friendly intr oduction to butterflies and moths\, covering their life cycles\, common na tive species and the plants they rely on.
\nLearn how to create a we lcoming garden\, care for and raise caterpillars\, and maintain a clean\, healthy habitat. The Lep Club also shares simple ways to help butterflies and moths survive the winter so they can emerge strong in the spring.
