 an London. During the event\, she will chat about her creative process\, h
 er transition from nonfiction to historical suspense\, and how she researc
 hes the complex social history behind her plots. The evening features a 45
 -minute talk followed by a brief audience Q&amp\;A. Every ticket includes

 in 1880s London\, The Betrayal of Cora Wexford follows a 38-year-old Ameri
 can expat who makes a living by painting portraits of the dead. Seeking a 
 fresh start from her past secrets\, Cora is introduced to a charming stran
 ger\, Miles Vale\, and is simultaneously commissioned by a suffragist to p
 aint a series of ordinary women forgotten by the system. However\, when se
 veral women turn up murdered in a gruesome manner reminiscent of Jack the
