\nCarrie Fitzgerald\, planetarium director at Mon tgomery College's Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus\, presents how people a cross cultures and throughout history have imagined the universe in an ill ustrated presentation. We'll trace the evolution of our cosmic worldview\, from stories told beneath dark skies to the discoveries of modern astrono my\, and examine how art\, science\, and wonder continue to shape one anot her. Along the way\, we'll encounter celestial myths\, remarkable works of art\, scientific breakthroughs\, and some of the most beautiful images ev er captured of the universe. Join us for an evening of exploration\, inspi ration\, and a renewed sense of connection to the stars above.
