 eative afternoon for youth aged 10+. Meet other people who like to create\
 , make art\, and share ideas.</p>\n<p>Each month we will have a specific s
 taff-led project that everyone can join in on\, one STEM challenge with li
 mited supplies\, materials and tools for exploration\, and space for youth
  work on their own projects. This is a time for middle school aged student
 s to learn a new skill\, or independently use maker equipment.</p>\n<p>If 
 there are neurodivergent youth interested in doing a project and attending
  in-person programming is difficult or causes discomfort\, please reach ou

 slibrary.org</a>&nbsp\;to request a take-home kit with instructions and ma
 terials for one aspect of the program. We will have a limited number of ki

  training required for the following Deschutes Public Library MakerSpace e
 quipment:</p>\n<p>Soldering Iron<br />Cricut Cutting Machines: Maker 3<br 
 />Sewing Machines: Baby Lock Joy<br />Serger: Baby Lock Celebrate<br />3D 
 Printers: Prusa MK4 (Redmond) and Prusa Core One+ (Central)<br />Customers
  who are 17 or older and hold a valid Deschutes Public Library card can sc
 hedule a 30-minute training appointment with a MakerSpace staff member. On
 ce a training is complete\, equipment is available for use during Explore 
 hours on a first-come\, first-served basis.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Training appoin
 tments can be scheduled on the&nbsp\;<a href="https://www.deschuteslibrary
 .org/services/makerspaces/">MakerSpace webpage</a>. Children under 17 are
