 reative afternoon for youth aged 10+. Meet other people who like to create
 \, make art\, and share ideas.</p>\n<p>Each month we will have a specific 
 staff-led project that everyone can join in on\, one STEM challenge with l
 imited supplies\, materials and tools for exploration\, and space for yout
 h work on their own projects. This is a time for middle school aged studen
 ts to learn a new skill\, or independently use maker equipment.</p>\n<p>If
  there are neurodivergent youth interested in doing a project and attendin
 g in-person programming is difficult or causes discomfort\, please reach o

 eslibrary.org</a>&nbsp\;to request a take-home kit with instructions and m
 aterials for one aspect of the program. We will have a limited number of k

  or older and hold a valid Deschutes Public Library card can schedule a 30
 -minute training appointment with a MakerSpace staff member. Once a traini
 ng is complete\, equipment is available for use during Explore hours on a 
 first-come\, first-served basis.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Training appointments can 
 be scheduled on the&nbsp\;<a href="https://www.deschuteslibrary.org/servic
 es/makerspaces/">MakerSpace webpage</a>. Children under 17 are welcome to
